It is designed to provide a simple quoting and invoicing workflow. Whether it suits you depends on your business, reporting and accounting requirements.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. You can start the 30-day trial without entering card details.
Can I choose whether GST appears?
Yes. GST and document defaults can be configured, but you are responsible for using settings appropriate to your registration and obligations.
Does Wattlebase replace accounting software?
No. Wattlebase helps manage customers, quotes, jobs and invoices; it does not provide full accounting, bookkeeping or tax lodgement. If you use Xero, Wattlebase can send your invoices, customers and payments there automatically.
Can my customers pay by card?
Yes. Connect your own Stripe account and invoices and deposits get a Pay now button for card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The money goes to your bank, the invoice marks itself paid, and Wattlebase takes no cut.
Can my staff use it too?
Yes. The Team plan is $39 AUD a month for up to 5 people. Invite staff with Owner, Office or Field access and assign jobs to them; field workers see their jobs without the prices.
Is there a Wattlebase app for my phone?
Yes. There’s nothing to download from an app store. Open wattlebase.com.au on your phone and add it to your home screen in two taps, and it opens full screen like any other app.
What if there’s no phone signal on site?
