Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. You can create an account and use the 30-day trial without entering card details.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can manage or cancel your plan through the secure Stripe billing portal. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I use a currency other than AUD?
Yes. Choose your workspace currency in Regional settings so quotes and invoices show the right currency for your business.
Can my customer accept a quote online?
Yes. Customers can review and accept a quote through its secure quote link, including an acceptance signature.
Can my customers pay by card?
Yes. Connect your own Stripe account in about 5 minutes and invoices and deposits get a Pay now button for card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The money goes to your bank and Wattlebase takes no cut. You can pass Stripe’s card fee on as a surcharge if you like.
Can my staff use Wattlebase too?
Yes. On the Team plan ($39 AUD a month for up to 5 people) you can invite staff with Owner, Office or Field access and assign jobs to them. Field workers see their jobs without the prices.
Can I price quotes from my wholesaler’s price list?
Yes. Import your supplier’s price file into Products & services, set your markup and Wattlebase shows your margin on each quote. Customers and field workers never see your costs.
What about extra work once the job has started?
Add a variation to the accepted quote. The customer signs it on your phone or by link, or you record that they agreed verbally, and it’s added to the invoice.
Will it remind me before my licence or insurance runs out?
Yes. Add your licences, cards and insurance with their expiry dates under Licences. Wattlebase emails you 30 days and 7 days before, and on the day.
Does Wattlebase work with Xero?
Yes. Connect Xero in Settings and invoices, customers and payments are sent across automatically, so your bookkeeping stays up to date.
Can I make quotes look like my business?
Yes. Add your logo, pick a layout (Classic, Modern or Compact) and choose colours for quotes, invoices and receipts.
Is there a Wattlebase app for my phone?
Yes. There’s nothing to download from an app store. Open wattlebase.com.au on your phone and add it to your home screen in two taps, and it opens full screen like any other app.
What if there’s no phone signal on site?
Keep working. Quotes and customers you create with no signal are saved on your phone and upload automatically when you’re back in range. Sending and PDFs wait until you’re online.
Can I download my documents?
Yes. Quotes and invoices can be downloaded as professional PDF documents for your own records.
