Wattlebase (ABN to be published before paid launch) operates Wattlebase. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our quoting and invoicing service.
Information we collect
We collect account and authentication details, business profile information, customer contact details you enter, quotes, invoices, document settings, support communications, and technical information needed to secure and operate the service. Stripe processes payment-card information; Wattlebase does not store full card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Wattlebase, create and deliver documents, process subscriptions, provide support, prevent misuse, diagnose faults, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use specialist providers including Clerk for authentication, Neon for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting, Resend for email delivery, and Stripe for payments. These providers may process information outside Australia under their own security and privacy arrangements.
Storage and security
We use access controls, encrypted connections, authenticated workspaces, signed payment webhooks, rate limits, and restricted document links. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong account password and protect access to your email account.
Retention, access and correction
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed for service, security, dispute, backup, and legal purposes. Account holders can update business and customer details, export their workspace data, or request correction or deletion through the account settings or support.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication may use essential cookies. Wattlebase also stores interface preferences, such as appearance and notification state, in the browser. We do not currently use advertising cookies.
Questions or complaints
Contact us at support contact shown inside Wattlebase. We will review privacy questions and complaints and respond within a reasonable period.
This policy should be reviewed against the operator’s final business details and legal obligations before a paid public launch.
