Terms of Service

Last updated 15 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Wattlebase, operated by Wattlebase (ABN to be published before paid launch). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity in your workspace and for ensuring the people you add are authorised to use its customer information.

Trial and subscriptions

New workspaces receive the trial period shown at signup. Unless you choose a paid plan, editing, sending, and conversion features stop when the trial ends. Paid subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. Current pricing and any included GST are shown before checkout.

Cancellation and billing

You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the Stripe-hosted billing portal. Cancellation takes effect according to the billing information shown in that portal. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of business, customer, quote, and invoice information you enter. You give us permission to process that information only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You must have authority to enter and use personal information and must ensure documents and tax information are accurate.

Acceptable use

You must not use Wattlebase unlawfully, send spam or deceptive documents, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious material, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use the service to infringe another person’s rights.

Service limitations

Wattlebase assists with business documents but is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You remain responsible for reviewing documents, tax treatment, record keeping, and compliance requirements. We may maintain, change, or temporarily suspend parts of the service where reasonably necessary.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by inaccurate user content, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

Termination and changes

We may restrict or terminate access for serious misuse, non-payment, security risk, or breach of these terms. We may update these terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to the support contact shown inside Wattlebase.

These terms are a launch draft and should receive professional Australian legal review before accepting paid public customers.
